Instructors and workshops

The musicians of the LJJO meet twice a year for one-week workshop sessions. New arrangements, which are often written exclusively for this big band, are rehearsed under the direction of Wolfgang Diefenbach and well-known jazz musicians as instructors.

Collaboration with instructors from the international jazz scene is an important feature of the rehearsals. This concept proved its value during the formation of the band and is still equally valid today: first-class instructors communicate the spirit of jazz!
